William R. Clavet, 67, of Lincoln, Rhode Island died August 1st, 2020 after a brave battle with cancer. Bill was born and raised in Central Falls, Rhode Island. He is survived by his wife, Debra; his daughter Jessica and her husband Scott; his son Jason and his wife Erica; four grandchildren, Noah, Benjamin, William, and Isaac. He was the brother of Elizabeth St. Pierre, Mary Ellen Blanco, Veronica Bergeron, Martha Bradbury, Patricia Robichaud, Andrew Clavet, Michael Clavet, Charles Clavet, Paul Clavet and Norman Clavet. He was predeceased by his grandson Theodore William Clavet. He served in the Air Force from 1971-1975 and was stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine. He worked for almost 30 years at Starwood Hotels before retiring in 2016. Bill was the most wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Everyone that knows him knows how much he loved his family. His second love was his 200-acre farm in Maine.
Bill never met a challenge or hobby that he was not willing to try. Jack-of-all trades, he loved rock and roll, cooking, the outdoors, Maine, and spending time with his grandsons with whom he spent many hours fishing, building, and taking things apart. Due to Covid-19, there will be a private ceremony and private burial at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations to HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, will be appreciated.
