Virginia E. Slack Obituary

Slack, Virginia “Ginny” E. (Vidler), 63, a medical secretary for Kent Hospital for 35 years passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Wallace A. Slack for 26 years. Born in Warwick, she was beloved daughter of Catherine M. M. (Dick) Vidler and the late Robert G. Vidler; loving mother of Joseph A. Slack and his wife Nancy and also James W. Slack; loving grandmother of Jacob J. Slack; sister of Catherine Marxson, Patricia Lord, Linda Nielson and Sheena Vidler-Given. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Ginny was a former member of the Rainbow Girls.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Burial will be at Quidnessett Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Wednesday, February 7, 2018 4-8 pm.
