Virginia A. Webber Obituary

Virginia A. (Crawford) Webber, 82, of Coventry passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Warwick surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Bobby Dean Webber. She was born in fall River, Massachusetts on June 14, 1938, a daughter of the late William M. and Gertude M. (Moriarty) Crawford. Virginia served as the principal at the women's unit at the former Ladd School in Exeter for many years.
She leaves two sons, Crawford Webber of Hope and Robert Webber of Missouri; three daughters, Cynthia Furtado and husband, Alton of Coventry, Jane Webber and husband, Dennis of Cumberland, and Jean Niquette and husband, Armand of Coventry; a sister, Mary Crawford of Hope; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Zurlag, Amanda Furtado, Heather Turcotte, Nicholas Niquette, Samatha Niquette, Vanessa Webber, Dean Webber, and Drew Webber; seven great grand children and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Crawford.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 10 am in the SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to SS. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry, R.I. 02816. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, West Warwick. Face masks are respectfully requested and social distancing and seating capacity limits will be observed.
