Valerie T. Haughey Obituary

Valerie T. (Tullie) Haughey, 79, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond E. Haughey. Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Benell) Tullie. Val was formerly employed as a cosmologist and will be remembered for her sense of humor, laughter and her love-hate for cooking. She is survived by daughters, Donna Haughey (Sharon Papp) of Yardville, NJ and Diane Mason (Mark Mason) of Barrington, sons, Robert Haughey and Michael Haughey of Warwick; one brother John Tullie; grandchildren, Kelsey, Hannah, Haley, Matthew, Kyle, Zachary and Jacob. She was the sister of the late Donald, Robert, Michael and Gerald Tullie. She also leaves her dear friends “sisters from another mother,” Carol Senecal and Mary Anne Ferreira.

A private chapel service will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 10 am in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston Street, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, Val would have liked you to take someone you love out for a nice meal in her memory. She’s done cooking!
