Tricia Rose Morrissey Obituary

Tricia Rose Morrissey, 39, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 24, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Ryan J. Pullano and the loving daughter of Paul Morrissey and the late Patricia (Villari) Morrissey; sister of Kathleen Coles and Paul Morrissey, Jr.; aunt of Michael, Lindsey, Kaitlyn, Allie, and Kyla; sister-in-law of Christian Pullano and his wife, Lisa, the late Bradley Coles, and Rhonda Morrissey.

Tricia had a passion for giving and a very big heart everyone who knew her knew of her generosity. Tricia found more joy in giving than receiving. At the holidays she loved pulling tags to give gifts to children she never met. Tricia was a devoted champion to all animals and animal’s rights. She cherished her fur babies and other pets she saw as her children. Tricia lived for the happiness of her nieces and nephew. To say she spoiled them is putting it mildly. They adored her ability to be a friend, aunt, and sometimes a second mom.

Tricia and her husband Ryan were co-owners of The Learning Academy in North Providence. Together they built a place for children to come and feel like family. She truly lived for the sound of laughter. Tricia loved to laugh and dance, and always enjoyed her family’s company.

While everyone who knew and loved her feels like a piece is missing, we take comfort in knowing she is with her mom in heaven where she longed to be.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Friday, 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915, will be appreciated.
