Todd E. Smotherman, 40, of Coventry passed away comfortably at home on Sunday, July 3, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Cynthia A. (Hall) Smotherman.
He was born on December 28, 1975 in Nashville, Tennessee, a son of Thomas E. Smotherman of West Warwick and the late Elizabeth B. (Palumbo) Smotherman. Todd had resided in Coventry for the past seventeen years, previously living in West Warwick.
Todd worked for United Parcel Service up until his illness. He loved to hunt and fish enjoying the solitude of the woods. He was a member of the Saturday Night Dart Club. He especially loved his family and friends.
Besides his wife and father, he leaves his daughter, Abigail J. Smotherman of Coventry; a brother, Thomas Smotherman, Jr. of West Warwick; and his aunt, Heloise "Dolly" Hammill of Pennsylvania. He was the brother of the late Alyssa B. Smotherman.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5-7 pm in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Services and disposition will be private.
