Timothy J. McCarthy Obituary

Timothy J. McCarthy, 65, a retired event staging coordinator for the Dunkin’ Donuts Center, formerly the Civic Center in Providence for 35 years passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of Eleanor J. (Spinks) McCarthy and the late John J. McCarthy. He was the beloved brother of Debra J. Izbicki (Peter), John J. McCarthy (Gayle), James E. McCarthy (Kim), and the late Patricia A. Golatto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Tim enjoyed fishing and playing basketball.

His visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 10-11 AM with a service at 11 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
