Roger A. Noel Obituary

Roger A. Noel, 85, of West Warwick passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 in North Stonington, Connecticut. He was the husband of the late Dorothy T. “Dot” (LaBelle) Noel.
He was born in West Warwick on May 17, 1934, a son of the late Omer and Irene (Gauthier) Noel.
Roger was a salesman at the former Majestic Hardware Store in Arctic for over 35 years. He volunteered for many years at the West Warwick Senior Citizens Center and was active in the Christmas Is program. He also coached many teams in softball and youth hockey in the Pawtuxet Valley area. He was a past member of the Club Frontenac in West Warwick.
He leaves a son, Steven R. Noel and wife, Yvonne of Richmond; a daughter, Cynthia L. Plaziak and husband, Michael of Chepachet; four grandchildren, Steven M. Plaziak, Melissa B. Desquenne and husband, Louis, Racheal M. Noel, and John D. Noel; two great grandchildren, Noah M. and Ethan L. Desquenne; a brother, Maurice Noel of south Carolina and a sister, Suzanne Bessette of West Warwick. He was the brother of the late Leon Noel.
Visitation on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 4-7 pm in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Burial will be private.
