Robert N. Oatley Obituary

Robert N. Oatley, 85, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Medical University of South Carolina. He was the husband of the late Isbel H. (Brierly) Oatley. Born in East Providence he was a son of the late Charles and Gladys (Leonard) Oatley, Sr. Robert was the beloved father of John W. Oatley (Gina), Lori J. Placella (Liberto), Julie A. Ferrante, Carmello V. Buccafurri (Stephen), Domenic R. Buccafurri (Gail), Robert N. King, Judy Smith and the late William J. P. Buccafurri and Robert J. Buccafurri. Loving grandfather of Crystal, Taylia, Alexandra, Robert, Ryan, Natalie, Jillian, Olivia and Kaitlyn. Loving great grandfather of Shane. He was the brother of the late Charles Oatley Jr., Ronald Oatley, Arlene Kollett and Marjorie LaCoursiere. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Oatley was a self-employed contractor and owner of the former Oatley Construction Co. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

His visitation will be held Monday, April 16, 2018, from 10-11 am with a service at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
