Robert M. Clark Obituary

Robert M. Clark of Warwick RI left our world on the 9th of May 2019. He was 71 years young. Bob was the beloved husband of Jane E. (Matley) Clark for 44 years. Born in Providence, RI, on the 12th of January, 1948 to Marie Evelyn (Simone) Clark and Melville Richmond Clark of Warwick, RI; loving father of Patrick R. Clark, Hilary A. Armstrong and the father in law of the late Robert F. Armstrong; brother of Barbara A. Fisette and her husband Robert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and 4 goddaughters. He lived most of his life in Warwick. He served his country for the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1969-1973 active duty aboard the ammunition ship U.S.S. Great Sitkin (AE-17). He worked for General Dynamics/Electric Boat, Quonset Point Facility as a welder/fitter, he was a supervisor for 19 ½ years. The remainder of his 32 years at EB were spent welding and running the P.A.W.S robots, retired in 2007.

His funeral service will be Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours, Friday 3-7 pm.
