Robert J. Coolen Obituary

Coolen, Robert J. 87 passed away March 9, 2020. He was the husband of the late Alice (Breen) Coolen. Born in Providence, son of the late James F. and Doris Coolen. Robert was the owner operator of Anthony’s Restaurant in Smithfield. He was an Army Korean War Veteran. He was the loving father of Diane M. Ikner and Betzy J. Mijangos; grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 6. He was the father of the late William J. and Robert P. Coolen; brother of the late Douglas and William Coolen and Agnes Papa.


His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with military honors at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 - 7pm. Information and condolences visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
