Robert E. Guyon, Sr. Obituary

Robert E. Guyon, Sr., Cranston FD (ret.), 86, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence. He was the husband of the late Janet (Cole) Guyon. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Ethel (Duffy) Guyon. Robert was the beloved father of Richard Guyon, Robert Guyon Jr., and Michele Wood; loving grandfather of Robert, Michael, Gregory, Sophia, Katherine, and Allison. He was the brother of the late Lois McCarthy. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and is a retired firefighter for the Cranston Fire Department.

His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
