Robert C. Padmos, 74, of North Kingstown, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine E. (Roy) Padmos for fifty-four years.
Born in Patterson, NJ he was the son of the late Corneilius and Ruth E. (Aeberlie) Padmos.
Bob graduated from Lodi High School in New Jersey.
He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a radio repairman before working at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT for thirty-four years before retiring. After his retirement, he enjoyed working as a realtor for Century 21.
He loved camping in Florida, golfing and pickle ball.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters, Michelle Hall and her fiancé Herbert Jackson of Saunderstown, Suzanne Bays and her husband Benjamin of Warwick and Denise Stone and her husband Jesse of Canterbury, CT; a sister Eleanor Padmos of NJ; and three grandchildren, Judith Hall, Alexander Stone and Juliette Bays.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 8:30am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial with Military Honors will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 6-7:30pm.
