Robert A. Cook Obituary

Robert A. Cook, 83, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016, at home after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (D'Ambra) Cook, and a son of the late Frederick and Lucille (Mannix) Cook. Bob was employed as a truck driver for D'Ambra Construction before retiring. He was a member of Teamsters Local 251 AFLCIO, the Narragansett Bow Hunters, South County Rod and Gun Club, and the National Rifle Association. He was the beloved father of Robert A. Cook, Jr. and his wife Shirley, and the late Paula J. Cook; grandfather of Robert A. Cook, III. He also leaves a nephew-son James D'Ambra and a special niece Flori. He was the brother of the late Frederick, John, Edward, and Weeze Cook.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave., at 10 am. Visiting hours, Tuesday, 4-8 pm.
