Richard L. Bolvin Sr. Obituary

Richard L. Bolvin Sr., 80, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Aubin) Bolvin. Born in Providence, a son of the late Giovanni and Brigida (Turillo) Bolvin. Mr. Bolvin was a United States Army veteran, and a jewelry polisher for many years. He worked with and operated Bolvin Homes building homes in the Providence and surrounding area. Richard was an avid Red Sox fan, and he enjoyed coaching Baseball for the North End Wanskuck Little League Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Richard L. Bolvin Jr., Raymond M. Bolvin Sr., and Thomas D. Bolvin; one daughter, Karyn E. Bolvin; two sisters, Mary DeAngelis and Theresa Corace; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Alexander Bolvin, Lawrence Bolvin, Michael Bolvin, John Bolvin Jr., Angelina Bolvin and Stanley Bolvin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9-11am with a service to follow at 11am in the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, 646 Putnam Avenue (Rt. 44), Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford Street Suite 1, Providence, RI 02903 will be appreciated.
