Obituary

Paul K. Carlson, 63, of Beech Ave., Cranston, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017 at Hope Hospice & Pallative Care, Rhode Island, Providence. Paul was born in Providence on January 19, 1953, the beloved son of Pauline M. (Durfee) Carlson and the late Herman L. Carlson and had been a lifelong resident of Cranston.

Paul worked at Airway 32 Lounge for several years before employment for Eastern Airline, TF Green Airport. He then co-owned the former Pauldon's Gourmet Express, Warwick, and it was also a well known catering business for many years. He was a member of the former Bethany Lutheran Church, Cranston, and now known as the St. Paul/Bethany Lutheran Church in Warwick.

In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by two brothers, Richard E. Carlson of Coventry, Glenn S. Carlson and his wife Dawn of West Warwick, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10 am in The Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson St., West Warwick. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-7 pm. Interment in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, RI. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to Hope Hospice & Pallative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
