Patrick H. Collins Obituary

Collins, Patrick H., 91, died Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was the husband of the late Lenore D. “Lee” (Hall) Collins, PhD. Born in Nashua, NH, a son of the late Edward and Marie (Dolan) Collins. He resided in Warwick before moving to Coventry, 40 years ago. Mr. Collins was employed in the fiscal office at NE Tech for 35 years and continued to work part time. He had formerly worked at the RI Trade Shop School. A WWII Navy veteran, he had served in the Pacific Theater. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Lincoln Country Club. He is survived by his 2 sons, Patrick H. Collins, Jr., and Michael P. Collins, and his grandson Patrick H. Collins, III. He was the brother of the late Rita Liamos and John Collins.

His funeral service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter.
