Patricia E. Turner Obituary

Patricia E. Turner, 73, died Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was the former wife of the late Edwin J. Turner. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Emily (Sharp) Kay, and resided in Barrington for most of her life. Patricia was a licensed optician in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She had worked for Sears Optical, Pearl Vision and JC Penny Optical for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Barrington Garden Club and Woman’s Club. She loved spending time at Barrington beach surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her son Edwin A. Turner and wife Coreena; daughter Pamela Barnes and husband Kevin; sister Marilyn Bonneau; brother Robert A. Kay and wife Rosemary; grandchildren Ian and Jack Turner and Mathew and Kyle Barnes; and nieces and nephews Jennifer Silva and Jason Bonneau, Kerri Colon Gray and Ryan Kay.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 3257 Post Road, Warwick, followed by a private burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Barrington. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
