Nelson R. Gonzalez Obituary

Nelson R. Gonzalez, 35, a manager for Macy’s passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at home. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Tila Mercedes Almanzar and Angel Luis Gonzalez. Nelson was the loving brother of Zuherly M. Francisco, Emely M. Lopez, Elissa Lopez, Hector O. Lopez, Angel L. Gonzalez, Luis A. Gonzalez and Keyla M. Gonzalez; loving uncle of Sully, Ricardo, Giannie, Edward, Ziya, Aiden, Edison and Jewlian; loving great uncle of Avien. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nelson loved spending time with his family, especially all of his nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 9:45 am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rte 44), Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. His visiting hours will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4-8 pm.
