Joseph F. Morley Obituary

Joseph F. Morley, 54, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Born in Providence, he was the son of Carol (Healey) Heaney and the late Joseph F. Morley, Sr. Joseph earned an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from N.E. Tech, and worked as a engineer for Dupont. He served as a Paratrooper with the US Army for 13 years serving with the 82 Airborne Division and was a Jump Master, and a combat veteran of Operation Just Cause and Desert Storm. He also served as a Drill Instructor. He was a member of the Kelley-Gazzero VFW Post, Cranston. He was the loving father of Joseph F. Morley, III and Connor J. Morley; brother of Timothy C. Heaney, Robert J. Heaney and the late Maryellen Morley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with Military Honors in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 pm. Memorial contributions to Operation Stand Down, RI, 1010 Hartford Ave #1, Johnston, RI 02919 would be appreciated.
