John T. Shirley Obituary

John T. Shirley, 58, died unexpectedly, Friday, April 6, 2018. He was the beloved son of Dorothy (McCaughery) Shirley and the late Herbert E. Shirley. John was a resident of Warwick for most of his life and was an avid New England sports fan. He was employed as a carpenter with the Carpenters Union Local #330 and worked for Interior Concepts. He was the loving father of Matthew M. and Ryan T. Shirley, and grandfather of Jordan X. Garcia. He also leaves his siblings, Stephen E. Shirley, Robert A. Shirley, Jeanne M. Fletcher, James M. Shirley, Laurie A. Lucia, Richard H. Shirley, and Karen A. Colvin.

His funeral will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.
