John P. Laurie Obituary

Laurie, John P., 62, died Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Patricia M. (Brennan) Laurie and son of George L. Laurie and the late Florence C. (Cullen) Laurie. John was employed as an electrician at Electric Boat for 32 years retiring February of this year. He served with the US Navy for 6 years until 1982. He loved to golf and was a member of the Whalen Golf League. He was the brother of Suzanne Woodard, George Laurie, Jeffrey Laurie, Barbara Tully, Mark Laurie and Rosemary Brennan.

His funeral will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave. Burial with military honors in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Wednesday, 4-8 pm.
