John L. “Jack” Boucher, 87, of Coventry passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joan P. (Krupka) Boucher.
He was born on April 27, 1932 in Brockton, Massachusetts, a son of the late George F. and Catherine (Horan) Boucher.
Jack was a truck driver for the Teamsters for over thirty years. He was an avid marathon runner and loved traveling.
Besides his wife, he leaves three stepsons, Robert Hennemann of Cranston, Edward Hennemann and his wife, Shelley of Washington, and Andrew Hennemann and his wife, Tracey of Coventry; a stepdaughter, Gretchen Haibon and her husband, James of Massachusetts; a sister, Mary Ohsberg of Warwick; ten step grandchildren, Nicholas Hennemann, Ethan Hennemann, Damien Hennemann, Chanell Hennemann, Adriana Hennemann, Julia Hennemann, Victoria Hennemann, and Andrew D. Hennemann, Corey Haibon, and William Haibon; and he leaves behind his beloved dog, Rosie.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 10-11 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick followed by a prayer service at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Coventry.
