John D. Morgan Obituary

John D. Morgan, 75, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 4, 2018, in Frisco Colorado. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline A. (Hoyle) Morgan and son of the late Daniel J. and Marie A. (Talbot) Morgan. John was a graduate of Hope High School and attended the University of Florida and Roger Williams College. He worked in the insurance industry for 50 years. His career started with Prudential Insurance, where he worked for 25 years before opening the Budlong Corr Independent Insurance Agency. An avid skier and golfer he was an ambassador at Cannon Mountain in NH for 30 years and a member of the Budlong Golf League. He was the beloved father of Jacqueline Morgan Yamada, Jerilyn Morgan and John Morgan, Jr.; grandfather of Emma, Maxwell, Brenner, and Anna Yamada, Amanda Grenier, Joshua and Michaela Morgan; great grandfather of Lilah Grenier. He also leaves his siblings, Alice Eichhorn, Robert Morgan, and Maureen Coutu, and was the brother of the late Paul Morgan.

His funeral will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 8:30 am from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial in Quidnesett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
