James F. Bradford, 94, a retired baker for the former Tip Top Bakery passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Waterview Villa in East Providence. He was the beloved husband of Maureen A. (Whitmarsh) Bradford. Born in Lynn, MA, he was a son of the late Frederick A. and Katherine (Stockwell) Bradford. James was the loving father of Deborah Nonnenmacher (Frederick), James Bradford, Jr. (Nancy), Cheryl Marland (Richard), Alfred Bradford, Naomi Sweet (William) and Amanda Bradford. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Jason Nonnenmacher and Amelia Sweet. Brother of Phyllis Knight, Charles Bradford, Robert Bradford and the late Edith Bradford, Marion Moulton, George Bradford and Donald Bradford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
His visitation will be held Friday from 4 - 7pm with a service at 7pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Hospice Palliative Care of RI 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
