Harold Jacques Obituary

Harold Jacques, 95, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Jane E. (Rhodes) Jacques for 62 years. Born in Warwick, a son of the late Thomas E. and Maude (Kear) Jacques. He as been a resident of Brookdale West Bay Assisted Living Center in Warwick for the past several years. He was employed as a mechanic with HR Cripps and Sons for more than 40 years. Mr. Jacques was a WWII veteran serving in Europe for 3 years as an artillery soldier. He loved ballroom dancing, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by 2 sons, Richard A. and his wife Helen M. (Ellis) Jacques of Attleboro, MA, and David B. and his wife Karen L. (Pare) Jacques of Rehoboth, MA; 4 grandchildren, Paul W. Jacques, Kathy-Dawn Jacques Botelho, Ryan D. Jacques all of Rehoboth, MA, and Bethany L. (Jacques) Amado of Riverside, RI and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Thomas E. Jacques, Jr., Albert Jacques, and Lillian (Jacques) Rignolli.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 9-10 am with a service at 10 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Pilgrim Senior Center, 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick, RI. 02888 will be appreciated.
