Greg A. Renshaw, 55, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Leanne R. (Spinelli) Parker of Sterling, CT. He was born in Norwich, CT, a son of Elizabeth (Stillman) Renshaw of Brooklyn, CT and the late Ralph E. Renshaw, Jr. Greg was passionate about history and historic preservation and worked his entire life salvaging, collecting, and dealing in art and antiques and saving and repurposing historic properties. Greg was the owner of the Cargill Falls Mill in Putnam, CT, which he was transforming into a sustainable mixed-use development. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his three loving sons, Ralph E. Renshaw, III, Reuben H. Renshaw, and Gabriel A. Renshaw. He was the brother of Diane Gudeahn, Carleen Ames, Rhonda Montgomery, Brian Renshaw, Michael Renshaw, and Joshua Renshaw.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt. 44), Greenville, RI, Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 9-11am, with a funeral service to follow immediately at 11am. The burial, followed by a reception and luncheon, will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations to Oxfam will be appreciated.
