Gerard M. Pelletier Obituary

Gerard M. Pelletier, 75, of Robert Street, West Warwick passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He was the husband of Pauline Y. (Fontaine) Pelletier. They had been married for over 52 years.
He was born in Providence on January 6, 1941, a son of the late Maurice G. and Doris G. (Frenette) Pelletier.
Gerard was a salesman at the former Shoe Box store and later at the St. Onge Clothing store both in Arctic and prior to that was an attendent at the R.I. Medical Center in Cranston. He was a past vice-president of the former St. John's Church Holy Name Society; a past president of the former Parent-Teachers Club of St. John's School; a former member of Club Frontenac in West Warwick; a past member of the choir at both St. John's Church and Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and a former eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. He enjoyed traveling and bingo.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Patricia Charpentier and her husband, Dennis of Connecticut; a son, David Pelletier and his wife, Amy of Pennsylvania; a sister, Louise Lavallee of Florida; six grandchildren, Jacob, Sarah, James, and Joel Charpentier, Carly and Jeffrey Pelletier and a stepgranddaughter, Jordan Harris.
A Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 60 Pleasant Street, West Warwick. Interment will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
