Emily Good Holland, 27, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 1, 2016.
Born in South Kingstown, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Sharon Good Holland of Jamestown. Emily also leaves her partner, Jake Littman, and their son, Jackson Edward Littman, whom she loved and cherished beyond measure. She leaves many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Emily attended Msgr. Clarke School, Prout High School, URI and graduated from Plymouth State University, earning a BA in Marketing.
She was involved in Jamestown Youth Softball and both The Prout School and Jamestown Community Theatres. Emily loved to bake, was passionate about shopping for shoes and pocketbooks; as a child she played dress-up with her friends. She was the queen of take-out! Emily was talented, ambitious, and loved life. As a young girl, she made scores of movies with Dad's camcorder filming on living room sets. She always included all the kids in the neighborhood and friends from school. At fourteen, she walked the entire length of Newport's Thames Street to personally canvas for a summer job, not returning home until securing a job that lasted for five summers. Emily loved all of her dogs Stanley, Nike, and Finley.
Her funeral will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 8:30am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Jamestown Community Theatre or Friends of Jamestown Seniors will be appreciated.
