David S. Kaplan Obituary

David S. Kaplan, 58, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn E. (Garlick) Kaplan and a son of Frances (Grella) Kaplan and the late Abraham Kaplan.

David earned his first Master’s Degree from Johnson & Wales University in Marketing and his second from Simmons College in Education. He was employed as a Logistics Supervisor for Ryder Truck for many years. David had a passion for hosting an internet radio show.

He was the loving father of Christopher A. Kaplan and his wife, Gabrielle, Michael E. Melucci, Alexander J. Melucci, and Casey T. Melucci; caring brother of Eileen Miccolis and Jodi Kaplan.

His funeral will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at 8:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary Church, Cranston St. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours Thursday, 5-8 pm.
