Barbara Barlow Obituary

Barbara M. Barlow, 61, peacefully passed away, Thursday October 4, 2018, with her family by her side. She was the loving daughter of the late Walter J. and Joyce A. (Daniels) Barlow and the adoptive daughter of Rose Kapp. She was the loving sister of the late Deborah A. Smith. She leaves behind three loving daughters, Nicole A. Barlow of Cranston, Desarae L. Parker of North Kingstown, and Laura M. Barlow Lafosse of Derry, NH; five devoted grandchildren, James N. Braga, Jenna N. Braga, Julia F. Barlow, Isabella A. Anttio and Nathan P. Lafosse. She also leaves her life-long friend whom she considered a sister, Gail McGrady. Barbara’s passion was being a caretaker to others. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston, she was also certified in early childhood development and worked as a teachers’ aid at Crayons and Tollgate Creative Learning Center, both in Warwick.

A visitation will be held Tuesday October 9, 2018 from 4-7pm with a service at 7pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
