Alma M. (McOsker) Zambarano, 93, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Zambarano. Born in Providence a daughter of the late John L. and Janet (MacFarlane) McOsker. Mrs. Zambarano was a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co., for many years before retiring. She lived in N. Providence for most of her married life before moving to Johnston in 2016. She was an artist who enjoyed oil and acrylic painting and working with stained glass.
She was the mother of Thomas E. Zambarano, Cynthia A. Carlozzi both of Johnston and the late John Zambarano. She was the sister of Roselyn Reilly and the late John and William McOsker. She is also survived by 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Z-Dolbashian and Jessica Zambarano; and her great-grandson Braydon Dolbashian.
Visitation and funeral will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 from 9-10am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rt44), Greenville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. In lieu of Flowers donations to Feed The Children, 333 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK 73107 or feedthechildren.org.
